Summary:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for appropriately implementing the designated curriculum in the classroom that includes planning, using assessments, and other information which allows for individualization that leads to school readiness, per Head Start Performance Standards.
Participate in required annual training.
Abide by confidentiality policy concerning children, parents, and co-workers.
Demonstrate a willingness to cooperate as a team player.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in any field and course work equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education or Child Development with a minimum of three years of experience teaching pre-school age children.
Additional Requirements:
Good computer skills Clean Criminal Record Check Valid driver's license and own transportation Proof of Education credentials (must be submitted with application) If selected, the incumbent must successfully pass the following:
